UX Designer - research and testing (Honolulu, HI)

Amberfield Fern Banking Services is a regional lender in Honolulu with branches and a growing mobile service, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around deposit accounts that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in deposit accounts. • Experience running usability tests.
