UX Designer - research and testing (Hartford, CT)

Silverline Iron Insurance is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for premium billing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 590 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in premium billing. • Experience running usability tests.
