UX Designer - research and testing (Hartford, CT)

Redstone Thistle Pharma is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for clinical studies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in clinical studies. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
