UX Designer - research and testing (Hartford, CT)

Greenridge Cobalt Early Learning runs childcare centres in Hartford caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in enrolment. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
