UX Designer - research and testing (Grand Rapids, MI)

Fernwood Ivory Health Group runs clinics and patient services around Grand Rapids. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around electronic records that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in electronic records. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
