UX Designer - research and testing (Fresno, CA)

We are growing our team at Silverline Quarry Transit Planning and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around accessibility audits that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Fresno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
