UX Designer - research and testing (Fresno, CA)

Stonegate Bright Markets Partners serves neighbourhoods around Fresno with fresh food and everyday goods, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 137 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around online orders that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in online orders. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Fresno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
