UX Designer - research and testing (Fort Worth, TX)

Nova Willow Insurance Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for customer complaints, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Design for tasks around customer complaints that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in customer complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Fort Worth. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
