UX Designer - research and testing (El Paso, TX)

Silverline Vista Community Partners Group runs community programmes across El Paso, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 200 people based in El Paso. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around food distribution that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in food distribution. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in El Paso. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
