UX Designer - research and testing (Detroit, MI)

Rivermark Summit Insurance is an insurance company in Detroit with claims and service teams. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around claims that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in claims. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
