UX Designer - research and testing (Detroit, MI)

Amberfield Kestrel Financial Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for payment disputes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 187 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in payment disputes.
