UX Designer - research and testing (Detroit, MI)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Granite Pharma and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. People move between science and operations roles. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in batch records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
