UX Designer - research and testing (Detroit, MI)

Lumen Cross Health Group is a healthcare provider in Detroit with clinics and support teams. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. Clinicians and administrators work side by side. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around patient scheduling that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in patient scheduling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
