UX Designer - research and testing (Denver, CO)

We are growing our team at Summit Linden Arts Center and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would join a large organisation of about 329 people based in Denver. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around visitor services that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in visitor services. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Denver. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
