UX Designer - research and testing (Dallas, TX)

Bluepeak Bright Community Partners Group is a Dallas charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. You would join a large organisation of about 894 people based in Dallas. What you will do • Design for tasks around food distribution that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in food distribution. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Dallas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
