UX Designer - research and testing (Columbus, OH)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Haven Learning Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 169 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Design for tasks around attendance records that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in attendance records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
