UX Designer - research and testing (Columbus, OH)

Harborlight Fox Learning Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for student accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around student accounts that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in student accounts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
