UX Designer - research and testing (Columbus, OH)

Westbrook Harbor Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Columbus, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around service alerts that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in service alerts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Columbus. • We reply to every applicant.
