UX Designer - research and testing (Colorado Springs, CO)

We are growing our team at Silverline Beacon Financial and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around regulatory reports that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in regulatory reports. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Colorado Springs. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
