UX Designer - research and testing (Colorado Springs, CO)

We are growing our team at Summit Haven Learning Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 90 people based in Colorado Springs. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around attendance records that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in attendance records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Colorado Springs. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
