UX Designer - research and testing (Cincinnati, OH)

Greenridge Field Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Cincinnati area, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around family communication that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in family communication. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Cincinnati. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
