UX Designer - research and testing (Cincinnati, OH)

Redstone Rook Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Cincinnati plant. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. You would join a large organisation of about 990 people based in Cincinnati. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around bindery work that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in bindery work. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Cincinnati, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
