UX Designer - research and testing (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Bright Ivory Health Partners and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around referrals that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in referrals. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
