UX Designer - research and testing (Charlotte, NC)

Nova Haven Medical Group designs and makes medical devices in Charlotte, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Design for tasks around regulatory submissions that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in regulatory submissions. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Charlotte, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
