UX Designer - research and testing (Charleston, SC)

Foxglove Quarry Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Charleston presenting exhibitions and performances, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around exhibitions that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in exhibitions. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
