UX Designer - research and testing (Buffalo, NY)

Silverline Field Financial is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for vendor spend, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in vendor spend. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
