UX Designer - research and testing (Buffalo, NY)

Clearpath North Early Learning is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for classroom supplies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around classroom supplies that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in classroom supplies. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Buffalo. • We reply to every applicant.
