UX Designer - research and testing (Buffalo, NY)

Amberfield Granite Financial is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for account servicing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Design for tasks around account servicing that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in account servicing. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Buffalo. • We reply to every applicant.
