UX Designer - research and testing (Buffalo, NY)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Wren Banking Services Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would join a large organisation of about 302 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around branch operations that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in branch operations. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
