UX Designer - research and testing (Boston, MA)

Stonegate Amber Early Learning is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for family communication, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We celebrate small wins and steady routines. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around family communication that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in family communication. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
