UX Designer - research and testing (Boston, MA)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Vale Press and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around customer orders that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in customer orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
