UX Designer - research and testing (Boston, MA)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Thistle Early Learning and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around licensing records that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in licensing records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Boston. • We reply to every applicant.
