UX Designer - research and testing (Boston, MA)

Silverline Fern Health is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for electronic records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around electronic records that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in electronic records. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
