UX Designer - research and testing (Baltimore, MD)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Vista Medical Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 159 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Design for tasks around training materials that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in training materials. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
