UX Designer - research and testing (Baltimore, MD)

Summit Lakeside Banking Services provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Baltimore. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. You would join a large organisation of about 789 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around branch operations that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in branch operations. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Baltimore. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
