UX Designer - research and testing (Baltimore, MD)

Highbridge Sable Markets Group is a Baltimore retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 143 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Design for tasks around online orders that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in online orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Baltimore, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
