UX Designer - research and testing (Baltimore, MD)

Redstone Ridge Learning Group is an education provider in Baltimore serving students and families. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. Families are partners. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around student accounts that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in student accounts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
