UX Designer - research and testing (Austin, TX)

Highbridge Linden Banking Services provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Austin, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. We promote from within and train well. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around card disputes that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in card disputes. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
