UX Designer - research and testing (Austin, TX)

We are growing our team at Lumen Drift Health and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 138 people based in Austin. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around clinic supplies that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in clinic supplies. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
