UX Designer - research and testing (Atlanta, GA)

Silverline Field Community Partners is a Atlanta charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 36 people based in Atlanta. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around volunteer shifts that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in volunteer shifts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Atlanta, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
