UX Designer - research and testing (Atlanta, GA)

We are growing our team at Northwind Iron Insurance and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around customer complaints that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in customer complaints. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Atlanta. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
