UX Designer - research and testing (Anchorage, AK)
Greenridge Keystone Transit Planning · Anchorage, AK · part time
We are growing our team at Greenridge Keystone Transit Planning and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing.
We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work.
What you will do
• Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people.
• Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails.
• Work with developers so designs ship as intended.
• Maintain a small design system of reusable components.
• Audit screens for accessibility and readability.
What we are looking for
• Two or more years of UX or product design experience.
• Comfort with Figma or a similar tool.
• Care for plain language and accessibility.
• A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens.
Nice to have
• Experience running usability tests.
• Background in accessibility audits.
Working arrangement
• Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days.
• On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months.
• Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
