UX Designer - research and testing (Anchorage, AK)

We are growing our team at Bright Quill Health Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 12 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around patient scheduling that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in patient scheduling. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
