UX Designer - research and testing (Albuquerque, NM)

Amberfield Loom Pharma Group develops and makes medicines in Albuquerque. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. Quality is everyone's job here, not a department. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around batch records that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in batch records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Albuquerque, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
