UX Designer - mobile flows (Virginia Beach, VA)

Foxglove Glen Banking Services provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Virginia Beach, and we need a UX Designer to lead our mobile flows. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around deposit accounts that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in deposit accounts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
