UX Designer - mobile flows (Toledo, OH)

We are growing our team at Northwind Timber Early Learning and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be mobile flows. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people based in Toledo. What you will do • Design for tasks around tuition and subsidies that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in tuition and subsidies. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Toledo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
