UX Designer - mobile flows (Tampa, FL)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Field Learning Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be mobile flows. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around school calendars that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in school calendars. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Tampa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
