UX Designer - mobile flows (Spokane, WA)

We are growing our team at Northwind Keystone Transit Planning and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be mobile flows. You would join a large organisation of about 676 people based in Spokane. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around fare systems that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in fare systems. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Spokane. • We reply to every applicant.
