UX Designer - mobile flows (Seattle, WA)

Ironwood Wilder Press produces print and digital publications in Seattle, and we need a UX Designer to lead our mobile flows. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around print quotes that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in print quotes. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Seattle, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
