UX Designer - mobile flows (San Jose, CA)

Cedar Stone Transit Planning is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on mobile flows for survey data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around survey data that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in survey data. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
